What is Mary's Mission?

During my 10 years with the county I have had the opportunity to learn the court system and utilize my customer service skills. In 2006, I had my first experience running for the public office of the County Clerk. During my campaign I was able to meet many of the citizens of Tarrant County and discuss their needs. Missing the County Clerk seat by less than 10% did not discourage my choice to run in the 2010 elections. I am determined to make a difference for you in your interactions with the Tarrant County Clerk’s Office. My goal for the remainder of this campaign is to run a clean and respectful race in hopes of becoming the next County Clerk for Tarrant County.

With my experience working in the Tarrant County Clerk’s office, I know what this office desperately needs and I will deliver. My passion for the people of Tarrant County will show in the daily experiences you have as soon as you walk in the door. I am passionate about the need for sincere and efficient customer service that begins and ends with a smile, leaving you satisfied with how your tax dollars are being utilized along with all of your needs being met.

Working within Tarrant County for the past decade, I have the drive, knowledge and first-hand experience to make a difference and evoke change. For the three years prior to that, I was the Rehabilitation Technician within the Housing Department for the City of Fort Worth. During those three years, I worked with a strict budget and was able to manage that budget with success. I plan to do the same within the Tarrant County Clerk’s office.
